Mitchell Development & Investments
About
Mitchell Development & Investments is a third-generation company, started in 1956 when its founder Theodore John Mitchell, a US immigrant from Greece, developed a retail strip mall in Great Falls, MT at the age of 45. This small strip mall soon grew to 650,000sf of enclosed leasable space, becoming Montana's very first enclosed mall, followed by 3 others throughout Montana in Missoula, Helena, and Havre.
In the 90's Mitchell Development & Investments held the most US government leases through the GSA in Montana, which led to the development and construction of the US Federal Courthouse in Great Falls, MT.
Further in the 90s, Mitchell Development & Investments bought and restored one of Montana's most iconic and photographed buildings, the Historic Milwaukee Station.
In the 2000's Mitchell, Development & Investments took development to the southern portion of the state and began developing 72 acres into what is now known as the Bozeman Gateway.
While much of Mitchell Development & Investments projects are located in Montana, they also developed several projects throughout the US in locations such as Salt Lake City, UT, Baton Rouge, LA, Georgia, and California.
